John
S. Bauer
- John is the co-founder and managing member of Aspen Consulting
Group, Ltd. John has worked in the healthcare industry for over
thirty years. He brings to the organization an extensive level of
"hands on" experience in the management of healthcare
professional practices. During his career John has acted as administrative
and executive director for over nineteen years for a single specialty
medical group, managing twelve offices throughout Northeastern Ohio
with over sixty employees. He has managed the billing cycle and
accounts receivable management issues inherent in his positions.
Also, he has participated in all aspects of planning, practice evaluation,
executive compensation and benefit issues, provider contract review
and negotiation, and all other related operational issues involved
in the day to day operations of a healthcare professional practice.
John's education was completed at Baldwin-Wallace College through
a Masters in Business Administration. He is a Fellow in the American
College of Medical Practice Executives, a Registered Respiratory
Therapist in the State of Ohio, a Licensed Lab Director in the State
of Ohio, a Member of the Medical Group Management Association, a
Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio, and is affiliated
with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Robert
G. Haney
- Bob is the co-founder and managing member of Aspen Consulting
Group, Ltd. Bob has worked with healthcare professional practices
for over thirty years in all aspects of planning, compliance reporting,
organizational structures, executive compensation and benefit planning,
and management issues. During his career, he has acted as both managing
and tax partner for local certified public accounting firms in which
he was a partner. He also founded his own accounting and consulting
firm in 1989 after twenty years of practice with others. Bob's education
was completed at Cleveland State University along with ongoing continuing
education in the areas of accounting, tax planning, and management.
He has spoken before groups on many aspects of group practice and
planning over the past twenty years. In addition to extensive experience
with healthcare professional practices, he has had substantial exposure
to auditing and compliance issues for financial institutions, and
the examination of internal controls to safeguard assets.

Sam
Birnbaum
- Sam is a Senior Consultant with Aspen Consulting Group, Ltd. Sam
has over forty years of practical business experience, of which
more than half has been in healthcare. He has managed and operated
all facets of businesses and medical practices. His inherent skills
are in business operations, development and entrepreneurial leadership.
As a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, Sam was
the first Chairman of the Practice Administration Network and continues
to be active on many key committees and workgroups. He speaks nationally
at practice management sessions on topics of coding, reimbursement,
compliance, and information technology sponsored by the College.
He has served as a Senior Vice-President of Marketing for a Fortune
500 firm and has been a founder and the Executive Director of a
single specialty medical group. During his career, Sam has also
served as an officer and partner in many private enterprises. Sam
is a graduate of the Ohio University School of Business. He is also
a Certified Medical Practice executive of the American College of
Medical Practice Executives and a member of the Medical Group Management
Association.

Barry
L.Coletti - Barry is a Consultant with Aspen Consulting
Group, Ltd. Barry has eighteen years of healthcare systems management
and operations experience. As Administrator for primary and specialty
care groups, he has managed groups in excess of fifty staff members
with multiple locations. Barry brings extensive experience in accounts
receivable, billing, cash management, operations, strategic planning,
and contracting issues. Barry completed his education at Baldwin Wallace
College, where he earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration
and at John Carroll University, where he earned a Masters Degree in
Human Services. While Barry has focused the last thirteen years of
his career on Medical Corporation Management, he maintains a Professional
Counseling License in the State of Ohio and is Board certified as
a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor III. |

| Robert
W. Fricker - Bob is a Consultant with Aspen Consulting
Group, Ltd. Bob has over twenty years experience working with healthcare
professionals in all facets of financial reporting, tax compliance,
information technology, organizational structures, executive compensation,
benefits planning, and management issues. In addition to extensive
experience with healthcare professionals, his public accounting background
is invaluable in dealing with the myriad business issues facing professional
practices. Bob's education was completed at the University of Dayton
along with ongoing continuing education in the areas of accounting,
tax planning, management, consulting, and computer/information technology.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio, and is a
member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and
the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. |

Janice
M. Haney - Jan is the Administrative and Client Services
Director of Aspen Consulting Group, Ltd. Jan provides management,
supervision, training and quality controls for all aspects of administrative
and client services. She has been the administrative coordinator of
Aspen Consulting Group, Ltd. since its inception. Her extensive experience
in planning, administration, and computer applications contributes
to management, organization, and marketing of Aspen. Jan has owned
an organization that specialized in the production of qualified plan
documents for a nationally recognized brokerage firm. Her business
interest began working for Proctor & Gamble as an administrative
assistant to the national accounts coordinator. Jan completed her
education at Cleveland State University majoring in Education with
a concentration in Mathematics. She used her degree of teaching full
time and substitute teaching for thirteen years. |

Susan
M. Stroemple - Sue is a Consultant with Aspen Consulting
Group, Ltd. Sue contributes eighteen years of financial and customer
service experience, ranging from inside sales to bank operations.
Sue worked for National City Bank for eight years and managed several
operating departments during her tenure, where the focus was on exceeding
the expectations of all internal and external customers. She was responsible
for all day to day aspects of managing an operating department, including
all human resource related issues, facilities management, and cost
control. Sue worked for a Hewlett Packard supplies distribution company
prior to working at National City Bank. Sue completed her education
at Cleveland State University, majoring in Finance |

Deborah
M. Ursini - Debbie is a Consultant with Aspen Consulting
Group, Ltd. Debbie brings over seventeen years of experience in the
accounting field including six years in public accounting. She contributes
her "hands on experience" to our compliance reporting department
with her extensive background in small business engagements, corporate
and individual tax preparation, and client operations. She works with
our clients' staffs to institute office procedures to safeguard the
integrity of their financial records. Debbie has an Associate Degree
in Accounting from Cuyahoga Community College, along with continuing
education at Baldwin-Wallace College. |
